Welcome to Little Rainbow baby kindergarten

Welcome to Little Rainbow Day Care, Our service promotes equality and values diversity. We work in partnership with yourselves and outside agencies to support your child with the best possible start in life.

Within the EYFS there are 3 prime areas and 4 specific areas in which we develop with the children. The three prime areas are personal, social and emotional development, their communication and their physical development.

Policies & Procedure

Our policies and procedures are available to all members of staff, parents, carers, Ofsted and other relevant organisations. They will be displayed at all times and as a team we will review them. Some of our policies include;

Your Child's Day Activities

Your child’s day will consist of lots of fun, exciting and engaging activities and, experiences where he/she can learn, play and develop in various areas. We focus efforts on developing children in 7 key areas as outlined in the new and revised Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which is a government framework for learning. The aim is to ensure that every child is given the opportunity to learn through high quality play to the best of their ability. Here at Rising Stars Nursery & Daycare, we recognise that every child develops at a different pace. Therefore, we strive to cater to the individual needs of the child with regards to the seven areas of learning and development. Below is a snap shot of your child’s day…
 

Creative Activites

Kids will do a wide range of activities in a secure fun environment, such as arts and crafts, acting, story telling.

Sport Activites

Children are given the opportunity to enjoy such as running, jumping, swimming , water sliding and seek and hide

Table/Floor Toys

Kids will play with differents toys It was found that children who have these opportunities developed a high self esteem, good social skills

Water Games

Kids will have opportunities play water games such as running, jumping, swimming , water sliding

Younger babies will probably need a number of sleeps during the day. As they get older, this will reduce to one sleep, usually after lunch. We will always endeavour to enable your child to sleep when they want to, and will also work with you to establish a routine that suits their specific needs.

Throughout the afternoon your child will enjoy a range of activities designed to enable them to play and explore, discover and grow, learn and understand. Every activity will be tailored to their liking and they will be encouraged to build their confidence and understanding through praise, recognition and support.
